"Continue in Prayer" (November 2015)

Yesterday (November 29) was our "Fifth Sunday Prayer and Communion Service," a joint service with both campuses coming together in Taylorsville. For those that couldn't make it, or who simply want to "continue in prayer" (Colossians 4:2) this week, below are the prompts used during the service along with the corresponding verses that were read:
  1. Prayer of praise (Psalm 100)
  2. Prayer for the nations (Isaiah 37:16)
  3. Prayer for eyes of the lost to be opened (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4)
  4. Prayer for evangelistic opportunity (Colossians 4:3)
In addition to these prompts, we used social media, email, and the sign at our Taylorsville campus to solicit prayer requests the week prior. Each request was shared, with the individual's name kept private, and someone volunteered to pray. Everyone enjoyed this unique component as we prayed for the needs of those across our state.

Plan to join us for our next "Fifth Sunday Prayer and Communion Service" on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Provo!
