No Service on December 27 (And Three Alternatives)

We will not hold our regular Sunday services in Taylorsville or Provo on December 27.

Taking off the final Sunday of the year is something Pastor Logan has been doing since 2011 in order to give him, and now the rest of our pastoral staff, a break before jumping into a new year.

Please keep our pastoral team in your prayers. Pray for safety of travel for those leaving town for Christmas. Pray that all of them are refreshed by taking more time to be with God—thanking, asking, and listening; more time to be with family—talking, playing, and laughing; and more time to be alone—dreaming, thinking, and planning.

Between now and the end of they year we hope you will do the same! And as you do so, here are three alternate ways you and your family can worship together the final week of 2015:

  1. Listen to one of Pastor Logan's previous Christmas messages from the 2013 series The War on Christmas, the 2014 series Let It Snow, or one you missed from this year's series, Christmas Music.
  2. Read one of the Christmas devotionals based on our current series, Christmas Music, here on the blog. Zacharias's Song will be posted on December 23 and Simeon's Song on December 30.
  3. If you're in the Taylorsville area for Christmas, attend the short, layman led prayer and praise service on the 27th at 10:30am. (Note, there will not be any musicians, childcare, or kids classes.)
Merry Christmas from your CrossPoint Church family!
