Pastor and author Charles Swindoll writes, "The devil, darkness, and death may swagger and boast, the pangs of life will sting for a while longer, but don't worry; the forces of evil are breathing their last. Not to worry…He’s risen!"
That is exactly what Easter is about and what we are celebrating this month at CrossPoint Church!
The month's activities and outreach events will build towards Easter weekend, which we're kicking off on Saturday, March 26, at 10am with our annual Easter Eggstravaganza. This is guaranteed to be a fun time for the whole family as toddlers and teenagers alike are invited to join in this 23,000 Easter egg hunt. These candy and toy filled eggs will be divided up by age group on the lawn of Taylorsville City Hall and won’t last long. You'll want to get there early, and be sure to register in advance to automatically be entered into our drawing for a $100 Toys-R-Us gift card.
If you're posting pictures or videos during this event, be sure to use the hashtag #EasterAtCrossPointUT and we'll feature them during our Easter services the next day, March 27, at 10:30am and 5pm. You can use the same hashtag when talking about the services or sharing quotes from the sermon and we’ll share or retweet those posts.
Pastor Logan's message, If Not for the Resurrection, will come from 1 Corinthians 15 and will contrast the dire circumstances we'd be in "if Christ be not risen" (v. 14) with the wonderful reality of Jesus's resurrection and what it means for us today.
Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and come expecting God to do great things in your life!
