Most of Mike Zander's years were spent in a small community just outside Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he was involved in the family print and newspaper business. At age thirty-seven, by God's grace, Mike accepted Christ as his personal Savior. From that point, he had a lot of time to make up for! So he and his family headed west to Frontier School of the Bible for three years of intense Bible training. Toward the end of his studies, some Utah representatives introduced Mike and his family to the ministry of Key Radio in Provo, Utah.
The Zander family comprised of Heather, Mike's wife of almost 19 years, and children Sam (17-the artist), Walter (15-the machine designer), and Margaret (13-the book worm) have lived in Utah since 2011 and have settled into their community and the abnormal lifestyle of a radio station domicile.
With evangelism as one of its core values, Key is a non-commercial, non-profit station dedicated to airing a blend of spiritually "thick and chewy" teaching programs. God is expanding the ministry by adding an FM translator in Utah Valley. With this development, Key Radio now occupies the FM dial in Utah Valley, Vernal, Richfield, and Price.
You can meet the Zander family this Sunday (May 29, 2016) at our Prayer and Communion Service in Taylorsville!
