Small Groups at CrossPoint Church (Winter 2017)

This past Sunday, registration opened for our 2017 winter trimester small groups! Small groups are intentional gatherings that happen on a regular basis for the purpose of community and spiritual growth. Within a small group you not only hear the Bible taught but are able to interact with it by way of discussion and questions. Furthermore, small groups provide accountability and the necessary prayer support as we look to apply what we're learning from God's Word to our own lives.

We encourage everyone to participate in a small group. (We even think it makes for a great New Year's resolution!) So wether you're a small group veteran, weren't able to participate last time, or new to CrossPoint, we hope you will consider joining one of the following studies.

Firm Foundation: Building a Household of Faith on the Unchanging Principles of the Word of God (Part 2). Even if you didn’t participate in Part 1, you’ll find this study incredibly helpful as you learn biblical principles regarding marriage and parenting that you can use immediately. (There is a study guide available for $4.)

Begins: Feb. 7 | Time: Tue. 6-7pm | Duration: 7 weeks | Location: Provo Campus | Leader: Pastor Bryant

Hebrews (Part 2). The book of Hebrews can refresh you spiritually if you’ve been struggling to maintain your faith in the face of your circumstances. College students and young adults will enjoy this encouraging study through the second half of the book of Hebrews. (There is a study guide available for $8.)

Begins: Feb. 9 | Time: 6:45-8pm | Duration: 6 weeks | Location: Pastor Jordan’s House (Taylorsville) | Leader: Pastor Jordan and Emily Ledbetter

The Blessing: Giving the Gift of Unconditional Love and Acceptance. In this DVD led study, ladies will learn to draw closer to their family, friends, and God as they learn how to love and value those around them—and how to respond when others don’t reciprocate. (There is a study guide available for $8.)

Begins: Feb. 18 | Time: Sat. 9-10am | Duration: 6 weeks | Location: Taylorsville Campus | Leader: Sarah Read

Financial Peace University. If you're struggling with your finances, whether it's trying to get out of debt, save for the future, or trusting God by giving, you won't want to miss this group! The teaching is done by video and followed by discussion. It's recommended that spouses participate in this study together. A member kit is required for each family participating in this study for the first time. (One membership kit is required per family and costs $93.)

Begins: Feb. 22 | Time: Wed. 6:30-8pm | Duration: 9 weeks | Location: Taylorsville Campus | Leader: Dan Gomez | Location: Provo Campus | Leader: Pastor Logan
