"Committed to Prayer" in 5 Tweets

A recap of Pastor Logan's message "Committed to Prayer" (from the series "Committed: Understanding Your Role in the Local Church") in 140 characters or less:

  1. The early Christian church devoted itself to prayer; "they continued stedfastly…in prayers" (Ac 2:42). Likewise, so should we. #CrossPointUT
  2. "Pray one for another…" (Jms 5:16). It's impossible to do this if we do not have meaningful relationships with each other. #CrossPointUT
  3. Each time you come to church, small group, or an outreach event, note 2 or 3 people you can be praying for that week. #CrossPointUT
  4. Each of the qualifications of a pastor (cf. 1 Timothy 3:2-7) is a battleground where you can intercede through prayer. #CrossPointUT
  5. "The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings." — Charles Spurgeon #CrossPointUT
