Small Groups at CrossPoint Church (Fall 2017)

This coming Sunday (September 10) registration will open for our fall trimester small groups! We know from Pastor Logan's recent series Committed: Understanding Your Role in the Local Church the importance of gathering together around the Word of God for encouragement and accountability. We hope this trimester you'll be a part of one these great studies:

The Art of Neighboring: Building Genuine Relationships Right Outside Your Door. We know the Great Commandment—"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matthew 22:37-39). However, like the lawyer that questioned Jesus (cf. Luke 10:25ff) we often try to justify ourselves by our definition of the word neighbor. What if we took this command literally? What would happen if we reached out to those on our street, those right next door? Don't miss this paradigm changing study at each campus where we'll explore what it really means to love our neighbors! (Book is required and available for $9.)

Begins: Sept. 20 | Time: Wed. 6:30-7:30pm | Duration: 7 weeks | Location: Taylorsville Campus | Leader: Pastor Logan/Chris Glenn

Begins: Sept. 21 | Time: Thurs. 6:30-7:30pm | Duration: 7 weeks | Location: Pastor Logan's House (South Orem) | Leader: Pastor Logan

#DeathToSelfie. When we compare our unfiltered lives to a world cropped and edited, where everything is perfect, we're left with thoughts of misery and frustration. The struggle to know who we are in the world without compromising who we are in Christ is a battle as old as mankind—but so is God's answer for finding peace. In this special study for teenagers, we'll discover how finding our identity in Christ can save us from the greatest obstacle standing in our way—us.

Begins: Sept. 23 | Time: Sat. 9-10am | Duration: 5 weeks | Location: Taylorsville Campus | Leader: Sarah Read
