Help Fill the #CrossPointCornucopia this Thanksgiving!
We've just put the finishing touches on the #CrossPointCornucopia, a five foot long horn that will take center stage during our Thanksgiving services on Sunday, November 19. And now—in what we hope will become an annual project—we need your help to fill it!
This year the contents of the cornucopia will go to our ministry partner Holding Out HELP, an organization that assists men, women, and children leaving polygamous communities by proving housing, food, clothing, counseling, education, and countless other referral services. They have asked us to help stock the kitchen of their safe house in Draper with snacks and goodies that many of those they serve have never been able to enjoy because of the cost or because they've been told such items were sinful.
Please bring a few of the following items to one of our services on November 19: candy bars, chocolate, cookies, crackers, popcorn, fruit snacks, soda, gatorade, and juice boxes.
And encourage others to give by using the hashtag #CrossPointCornucopia on social media!
