"Priorities of a Christ-Centered Church" in 5 Tweets

A recap of Pastor Logan's message "Priorities of a Christ-Centered Church" in 280 characters or less:
  1. Though Martha invited Jesus into her home (cf. Luke 10:38), she was so quickly distracted (cf. Luke 10:40). We can say we want Jesus’ presence in our lives or in our church, but our activity and concerns reveal our true priorities. #CrossPointUT
  2. If you’re not generous, our church can’t be generous. If you’re stingy, our church becomes stingy. #CrossPointUT
  3. We can think of all sorts of reasons not invite people over: the house is a mess, I haven’t had time to go the store, I’m not a good cook... The early church wasn’t a bunch of gourmets, they were simply generous with what they had (Acts 2:46). #CrossPointUT
  4. The early church prioritized learning together, blessing each other, eating together, and praying together. As a result they had "favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved" (Acts 2:47). #CrossPointUT
  5. Jesus isn’t just something else you cram into your already busy life. You bring your life to Him and He will reprioritize it. #CrossPointUT
